He was picked by RCB for ₹20 lacks ($28,000) in the 2020 IPL auction. He made his IPL debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 21, 2020. He played five matches for RCB in the 2020 season and scored 11 runs and took four wickets.
He continued his good form in the domestic season of 2022-23, scoring 427 runs and taking 28 wickets in eight matches for Bengal in the Ranji Trophy. He also captained Bengal to their second consecutive Vijay Hazare Trophy title, scoring 264 runs and taking nine wickets in six matches.
