The upcoming Sudirman Cup is titled as TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2023. This year’s event is scheduled to take place in China.
It will be the 18th edition of the BWF Grade 1 event, first founded in 1989.
Like every year, the international badminton competition will be a mixed-team event under BWF’s authorization.
A total of 16 international mixed teams will compete this year, including the host country and defending champion China.
Sudirman Cup 2023 will be played on 2 stages. The first stage will be a group stage competition.
This will then be followed by a knockout stage event. More info on the event is listed below.

The upcoming iteration of the Sudirman Cup will get underway this Sunday, May 14, 2023. It will run till the following Sunday. Competitions will start at around 05:00 a.m. ET every day.
