The NFL running back Frank Gore will face ex-NBA point guard Deron Williams under the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury undercard on December 18 at Amalie Arena. This will be the professional boxing debut match for each of them. This fight is scheduled at 215 pounds for four rounds.

Gore is an NFL Hall of can’t and ranks third in the NFL history with 16000 rushing yards and has also been selected for Pro Bowl five times. He has played 16 seasons in NFL. He played for New York Jets most recently.

“I’m excited to be fighting on this card and can’t wait to show the world what I’ve been working on,” Gore said, “Boxing has me excited, and on Dec. 18 expect fireworks!”

Williams has trained in mixed material arts for many years and has experience in this field for many years. He is also a part-time owner of Fortis MMA gym in Dallas.  Sayif Saud is his trainer in boxing. Williams was in three-time All-star selection in the NBA for Utah Jazz and Brooklyn Nets. In 2008 and 2012, he got gold medals for the US National Basketball team.

William said, “Combat sports have been a part of my life since my youngest days. Before I was a basketball player, I was a wrestler. Since 2015, I have had the privilege of owning an MMA gym, and through that, I have trained in various martial arts to stay active. Over the last year, I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to translate my training into a professional debut.”

This is going to be a very exciting match to watch. Both of them have a separate fanbase. NBA fans will support William where the NFL fans will support Gore. It’s a matter of time we will know who is going to win this match.
