An unexpected stalemate marred the exhibition match between undefeated boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather and his opponent actor-cum-YouTuber Logan Paul.

The Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather match updates caught up with the social media frenzy as the whole boxing community binge the fight.

The much-hyped fight at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida’s Miami Gardens ended without a decision as neither of the two was able to deliver a KO, which is how the winners are declared as per rules of exhibition fights.

If we go to the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather match stats, the boxing veteran was a clear winner on points as he struck clean blows while Paul missed most of his shots.

Mayweather was obviously better of the two, as he struck and dodged better than his American counterpart, but the 44-year-old failed to live up to the expectations of most fans.

The fans took to social media to say that the fight was not close to as entertaining as they thought it would be.

Nonetheless, the boxing veteran admitted that Logan performed better than he anticipated.

“I had fun. You’ve got to realize I’m not 21 anymore. I had fun moving around with these guys. He was better than I thought he was. He’s a tough, rough competitor … He knows how to use his weight and tied me up tonight.’This was fun,” Mayweather remarked in a post-fight interview.

On the other hand, Logan Paul was elated with the fight’s result.

“I don’t want anyone to tell me anything is impossible ever again. The fact that I’m in here with one of the greatest boxers of all time proves that the odds can be beaten,” Paul said.

“It’s an honour to grace the ring with him. I don’t know, this is the coolest thing ever. I’m happy I made it out. He’s tough to hit.’’

The YouTuber was the underdog in the fight despite having the advantage of height (6’2) and age (26).

While Jake and Logan Paul are expected to continue doing exhibitions, Mayweather seems like this was his last time out.

How much money did Mayweather and Logan make?

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, the 44-year-old revealed that made somewhere between $50 million to $100 million from the fight against Logan.

He is expected to earn $10 million plus 50% in pay-per-view revenue, whereas Logan will receive $250,000 excluding the 10% in pay-per-view income.
