Tyson Fury did not hold back when asked about his views on his coming fight against two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Speaking to Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn on the podcast No Passion No Point the Gypsy King said he will overwhelm Joshua when they meet in the boxing ring.

Nonetheless, Fury was brimming with confidence.

As quoted by Talksport, he said: “Yeah, I can’t wait to get the big dosser in the ring and give him a good hiding. Prove to the world what a fake he is and that there’s only one dominant heavyweight champion – the ‘Gypsy King’.”

Fury, as usual, doesn’t doubt himself for the Joshua showdown. He affirmed that there’s no boxer good enough in the industry to defeat him. And so far, Fury hasn’t been wrong since his record speaks volumes of it.

The Gypsy King has a sublime 30-0 pro boxing record. He is yet to lose any fight in his career. Whereas, his rival Joshua has one loss on the record. The Brit lost to Mexico’s Andy Ruiz Jr.

Calling himself “Undefeated, indestructible and unbeatable, Fury added that he will retire with the crown.

When is Fury vs Joshua fight?

Both boxers are highly regarded in the industry and have signed a contract on March 15, agreeing to a two-fight deal. However, the dates of their fights haven’t been made public yet.

It is expected that the schedule will be announced right after the Alvarez-Saunders fight.

Fury and Hearn recently visited Dallas while promoting Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders. Fury came in support of his friend Saunders whereas, Hearn came to perform his duties as Canelo’s promoter.

When asked by Hearn, during the podcast, if he considered Joshua an easy opponent, Fury was affirmative.

The boxing champion was of the view that Joshua doesn’t have an x-factor that can threaten him in the fight. He said the only person who could beat him is himself.

When Hearn retorted that Joshua could be the guy to end his unbeaten streak, Fury responded: “AJ couldn’t lace my boots, definitely not. I know you’re his promoter and you have to say this.”

Who does Canelo Alvarez support?

In an interview that dates back to March, Multiple weight world champion Canelo Alvarez said that Joshua will bag a comfortable win against Fury.

“AJ has that raw power which will make Fury think about boxing him more than beating him up. I promise you. It is happening,” Alvarez said.

The Mexican boxing star predicted that Joshua will keep the pressure Fury on to knock him out in the later rounds with a powerful haymaker.

The Gypsy King has been teasing Joshua for many years, whereas Joshua chooses not to involve himself in trash-talking on most occasions. Fury has, however, said this time and again that Joshua intentionally avoids sharing the ring with him.

The winner of the Joshua-Fury showdown will don the undisputed heavyweight crown.
