Tamim Iqbal Khan was born on 20 March 1989, in Chattogram, Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi professional cricketer, Tamim Iqbal is a left-handed batsman. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bangladeshi batsmen of all time.
Tamim started his journey in the Under-19 side who played in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. Tamim has played 104 first-class matches and scored 7,945 runs with an average of 43.17. He plays in franchise T20 leagues all across the globe.
International Career
Tamim Iqbal made his One Day International debut for Bangladesh on 9 February 2007, with a against Zimbabwe. 7 months later, on 1 September 2007, he made his T20I debut, against Kenya. He made his Test debut against New Zealand, on 4 January 2018.
