After six months of sparing no effort, two teams, Sydney FC and Melbourne City, leading at the points table, have headway to face off in the champion decider of A-League 2021.

After 15 wins, The City is on the top securing 49 points on the whole. They positively responded to their 2020 collapse by putting in more quality to their already skilled squad.

The young gun Marco, the attacker Nabbout, and the defender Nuno all have done a great job lifting their team to tier. Earlier crowned premiers of the season, the Melbourn City team is making their second appearance in the A-League Grand Finals.

Contrarily, Sydney FC has ended up second in the points race where they have collected 47 points after securing 13 wins and facing just five defeats. Being the unprecedented two-time back-to-back titleholders, FCs are eying on their third consecutive A-League champion crown.

Miloš Ninković, a Sydney FC star, is striving to recover from his calf injury and has already missed the semi-final game against Adelaide United.

On the whole, the 2021 A-League Grand Final will be a close contest, with both teams being apt to lift the trophy and bring about a great show.

When will be the 2021 A-League Grand Final?

Both teams will be putting up the show on Sunday, June 27, 2021, for the 16th A-League Grand Final and culmination of the 20/21 season.

The kick-off will be at 5:05 AEST.

Where will be the 2021 A-League Grand Final?

For the first time, Melbourne City FC will host an A-league Grand Finale at AAMI Park, allowing its fans to whizz their team towards the first-ever A-league champion title.

According to the Victorian Government, Melbourne’s AAMI park will allow only 50% seat occupancy due to the stringent COVID 19 situation.

It means that a crowd of 15,000 spectators will be able to cheer up and roar their teams on the way to becoming the 2021 A-League title winners.

Previous A-League Finals produced some of the epoch-making footballing moments full of excitement and suspense. However, not many goals have been scored in the deciders. Of last 11 of the 15 were low-scoring meets, each rendering two or fewer balls in the nets after 90 minutes.
