The Spurs manager Nuno Santos expects Kane to return to action and support his team. The striker didn’t participate in the team’s win over Man City.
Harry Kane’s followers were hoping to see him in the big match but according to Nuno, the England captain was not fit enough to be in the tough match against Man City.
In Kane’s absence, Son Heung-min made a splendid effort by striking the only goal of the game after 55 minutes. Manchester City was unsuccessful in striking any goal despite 18 of their shots.
Santos was glad to watch Son’s performance in the game and also praised him:
“Sonny and the talent that he has is amazing,” said Nuno. “I truly believe that he is versatile enough to play and develop the tasks in all of the positions up front. He is dynamic, he has speed and he knows the game. Sonny can find the gaps, the spaces and he is a killer. I believe he will do better in the future.”
Manchester City keen to sign Kane
