Christian Pulisic out after due to positive Covid test

Bad news for the fans of Christian Pulisic as he won’t be able to play this match. The American starlet has tested positive for Covid 19. Although, the Blues forward took the vaccination dose quite recently, still got the virus.

The Chelsea player has not felt any kind of symptoms but he has isolated himself after the test result. The 22-year-old was training hard at the start of the week for Chelsea but was not available on Wednesday for the open training session.

Arsenal welcomes Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale

Arsenal has recently signed Real Madrid midfielder, Martin Odegaard. The gunners have signed the 22-year old for £30 million.

Aaron Ramsdale has also made a £24m plus an additional £6m deal with Arsenal. Gunners boss Arteta feels that Ramsdale’s addition will make Arsenal stronger than before.

“Aaron is a talented young keeper with huge experience and has international experience for England. He will bring competition and that’s what we want to create – healthy competition, quality competition in every position. We identified Aaron as the ideal option,” Arteta said.

Aaron Ramsdale was also a member of England’s Euro 2020 team. His entry into the Arsenal squad will surely boost the team’s morale.

Both Ramsdale and Odegaard have secured a solid four years deal with the Gunners. They can also avail themselves of the option of an extra year. Other players who have signed with Arsenal this summer include Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Nuno Tavares.

The Arsenal team manager has talked about Odegaard’s inclusion into the team at the end of the last season. He has also spoken about adding some other signings for his team as well before the 31st of August when the transfers will shut down.
