How Does the 2022 FIFA World Cup Bracket Work?
There are 32 teams divided into eight groups. Each group has 4 teams. Before the Round of 16, 48 matches will be played on the group stage. The top 2 teams from each group will reach the next Round of 16. It is a single-elimination contest.
From the Round of 16, 8 teams will compete in Quarterfinals, four winning teams will go to the Semifinals, losers teams will play in WC 3rd Place Match, and the Winners teams will battle for the FIFA World Cup Final 2022.
