The former Manchester United and England star, who is currently playing for Nottingham Forest, has his sights set on breaking through to the big screen following his career on the field.

30-year-old Lingard stated: “But I need to take drama classes — I’ve not done that yet.”

“I just love films. I’ve always been a big film lover.”

“And to be involved in a film or a series would be amazing.”

“I need to really home in on the drama side of things — I’m really bad with lines to be honest.”

Jesse, a footballer turned businessman, said on the podcast Diary of a CEO: “I think I’ll start in comedy first.”

Jesse Ellis Lingard, an offensive midfielder or winger for Premier League team Nottingham Forest and the England national team, was born on December 15, 1992, in England.

He has won the FA Cup, FA Community Shield, EFL Cup, and the UEFA Europa League. He is one of only three players to have scored in each of the last three championship games.

In 2012, while on loan at Leicester City, Lingard made his senior debut.

He also spent time on loan at Birmingham City, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Derby County in 2013–14 and 2015–16.

He made his debut for Manchester United’s first squad in 2015 under Louis van Gaal and remained a mainstay until 2019, when he struggled to recover his position in the team after falling out of favor under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Lingard rediscovered his form in 2021 while on loan at West Ham United, scoring nine goals in 16 games.

He spent one more year at Manchester United before being let go at the conclusion of the 2021–2022 campaign.

Prior to making his senior international debut in October 2016 and representing his nation at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where England placed fourth, he represented England at the under-17 and under-21 levels.

Lingard Takes A Dig At Former Club

Jesse Lingard took aim at Manchester United, saying the Red Devils’ facilities are considerably inferior to those of their rivals.

In support of Cristiano Ronaldo’s assertions that Manchester United has made little progress and is far behind other elite Premier League clubs, Nottingham Forest attacker Jesse Lingard has provided evidence.

After 11 years at Manchester United, Jesse Lingard departed the club last summer to sign a one-year deal with Nottingham Forest.

Despite the fact that United has been enjoying success since their early return to form on the field, with Erik ten Hag guiding the new era at Old Trafford, serious allegations have been rumbling around regarding the club’s distance from other Premier League heavyweights.

Cristiano Ronaldo originally made the admission in his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan that led to his unexpected exit from United, emphasizing that “nothing has changed” behind the scenes between his two stays at Old Trafford.

Jesse Lingard is now asking why a world champion has allowed itself to stagnate without trying to enter the league of other forward-thinking teams.

In a candid interview on The Diary of a CEO Podcast, Lingard attacked Manchester United and criticized the Manchester team.

The 30-year-old England international player criticized the club’s lack of structure and management, blaming it on its American owners, the Glazers. He also discussed a number of other difficulties.

Lingard criticized the Red Devils, saying they have lost all control since Sir Alex Ferguson left and are stuck in the past.

Lingard confirmed:  “There was no control, no structure, people doing what they want – it was like a free-for-all.”

“We don’t know [who’s calling the shots]. And of course, now they want to sell the club. We were just behind on a lot of things. Players didn’t take a view.”

Former Manchester United midfielder Lingard, who departed Old Trafford as a free agent in 2022, contrasted Manchester United’s outdated facilities with those at rival teams Manchester City and Tottenham.
