Liverpool played preseason matches against Manchester United, Crystal Palace, RB Leipzig, Salzburg, Man City, and Strasbourg. It was an eventful preseason campaign for Liverpool before the Premier League 2022-2023 in August.
Liverpool 0-4 Man United:
Liverpool suffered a disappointing defeat by 0-4 goals against Erik ten Hag’s Man United in Thailand. Sancho, Fred, and Martial scored in the first half to give them a 3-0 lead.
Carvalho, Firmino, and Diaz started up front for Liverpool. Salah and Nunez were brought in after 60 minutes.

Liverpool won the most competitive match in the preseason by 3-1 goals against Man City to grab the Community Shield.
Trent Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring for Liverpool. Julian Alvarez got one back to make it 1-1 before Salah found the back of the net from a penalty. Darwin Nunez scored the third from a header to seal the match. It was a dominating performance from the Reds.
