The 2021-22 season of the Scottish Premiership has recently come to an end. Fans observed a high-voltage match between two Scottish giants, Rangers and Celtic. However, Celtic claimed the league championship back from the Rangers on May 11. With this, the 2021-22 season of the event came to an end.

The winner and runners-up of the season earned around £3.5 million from prize money only. Many tv stations have recently added Scottish Premiership to their prime-time schedules due to its popularity. As a result, big clubs like Rangers and Celtic brought in more tv revenue than others. So, they achieved a large sum out of this tv-sponsorship bonus.

Following the 2021-22 season, Dundee got relegated to the league. Whereas Kilmarnock was promoted from Scottish Premiership. Teams that get relegated from the league generally get a 9% share, with around 4.5% each. The previous season relegate, Kilmarnock and Hamilton Academical earned £3 million each.

Recently the British automotive marketplace, Cinch got the sponsorship right of the Scottish Premiership. The deal extent is 5 years for now. Before this, Ladbrokes had a sponsorship deal with the league. Also, the premiership got a few tv sponsorship deals. These sponsorships helped them increase their prize pool.
