Top 5 Picks:

Rory McIlroy:

McIlroy is the top favorite for The Open Championship 2022. Previously he won the tournament in 2014. Unfortunately, he couldn’t defend the title in 2015. As a result, this year he is keeping his distance from soccer. The golfer recently has been in good shape, placing in the top 10 in the first three majors.

Xander Schauffele:

The player is currently in a good run. He recently won the Travelers, JP McManus Pro-Am, and the latest Scottish Open. The player also got good runs in the British Open career. He placed on T-26 and better so far. Thus, fans will be looking forward to his performance this year.

Scottie Scheffler:

The American gofer’s season has been amazing. In six starts, he earned his first four PGA Tour titles this season. The player also finished the US Open with T2. While he might not have tons of experience, he is definitely a favorite. Last year, Scheffler placed T8 in the Open Championship.

Jordan Spieth:

Spieth has a good track record in the event. Previously he had one win in the event. Additionally, the golfer placed top 10 three times including one runner-up there. As such, he will be looked upon with good expectations.

Matt Fitzpatrick:

While Fitzpatrick hasn’t made a cut in many events this year, the achievements are impressive. He not only received his first PGA Tour win but earned it in a major event this year. His performance in the US Open was phenomenal. The player also finished T5 in the PGA Championships and T2 in the Wells Fargo Championships.

There are more players with great potential to win the tournament. Therefore, fans are excited to see how their favorite golfers perform. Keep an eye on our website for the most up-to-date information and scores from the event.
