Summary
The PGA Tour heads to Toronto this week for the Canadian Open 2023 at Oakdale Golf and Country Club. It’s the final event before the U.S. Open major. The defending champion and world No. 3, Rory McIlroy will aim to clinch another title.

Canadian Open 2023 Purse
This year, the total purse of the RBC Canadian Open is set to $9 million. The winner will take home a $1.62 million winner’s share.
The second and third-place finishers will receive $981,000 and $621,000 in prize money.
In 2022, the Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy won the Canadian Open. His 19-under-par of 261 was 2 strokes better than the runner-up Tony Finau. He took home $1.566 million winner’s share for the victory from a total $8,700,000 purse.
This year, the field will also include world No. 8 Matt Fitzpatrick, and three more players from the world’s top 20 – Sam Burns, Cameron Young, and Tyrrell Hatton.
