The JP McManus Pro-Am golf event has returned after 12 long years of absence. The event started on July 4th and run till the end of the following day. It features the top 10 golfers in the world. JP McManus Pro-Am 2022 Purse, Prize Money and Distribution:

In the 2022 iteration, the prize money is listed as €1 million. Among these, the winner will be bagging €250,000. The next 9 ranks will be worth €30,000 each. If a tie happens, there will be a card countback over the last 18 holes. If a tie still exists, both players will share the trophy.

Players with the lowest combined team score will be offered €800,000 extra. Also, the competitors who will place from 21st to 50th will get €5,000 each. An overall team prize will be awarded to the amateur team with the lowest combined score over the two days, with ties settled by a countback.

Charity Money of the Event:

The JP McManus Pro-Am is mainly a charity event. As such, the money raised through ticket sales, donations, and sponsorship deals will be donated to various charities. The JP McManus Benevolent Foundation was established in 2000. Since then, the foundation helped donate around €37.5m to various charitable groups and organizations. The donation money goes mostly to the Mid-West Region and across Limerick. The money raised at this year’s event will follow the same rule.

Caps for Entry:

The event uses caps as entry tickets. Anyone without a cap will be denied access to the tournament. This rule additionally applies to infants. The authority also verified that they will accept caps from rescheduled 2020 events. Around 40,000 visitors attended the event.

Place and Time of the Event:

The 2022 JP McManus Pro-Am is held at the Adare Manor. It is a 72-par golf course in Limerick, Ireland. The second day of the event will tee off today at 9 AM and run till 2:30 PM. The event will be broadcasted live on the Golf Channel. It can also be streamed live via Sky Sports in the UK and Peacock in the US.
