In the 2022 LPGA Season, The LPGA Mediheal Championship will be the 28th official event. Additionally, this iteration will be the 4th addition to this women’s professional golf tournament. Surprisingly, it has attracted many top players since its establishment in 2018. 16 of the top 50 players entered the event this year.
The four-day event will run from October 6 to 9. It is being held at the Saticoy Club in Somis, California. The course is a 72-hole one spanning 6,551 yards. Let us look at the ongoing event’s purse and payout distribution.
Mediheal Championship 2022 Purse and Payouts

This year, the total prize fund of the Mediheal Championship is set to be $1.8 million. The winner will receive 15% of the prize money, totaling $270,000. Previously in 2021, the prize fund was $1.5 million. So, the prize pool for the Mediheal Championship 2022 has increased as well, just as it has for every other LPGA competition this year.
Aside from the large prize pool, there are additional advantages to playing well in the event. The management recently announced that the event winner would receive 500 points toward the Race to the CME Globe. Also, only the top 70 players who make the cut after 36 holes will be eligible for a payout. The top player will get $270,000, while the 70th placement will receive $3,668.
