The 2022 Mexico Open is going to be held from April 28 to May 1 at the Vidanta Vallarta in Vallarta, México. Here, you will know when, where, and how to watch the event here. with tee times.

Mexico Open Preview:

This week’s field for the Mexico Open at Vidanta includes world No. 1 Jon Rahm, as well as Tony Finau, Gary Woodland, Abraham Ancer, and Kevin Na. The field of 144 players will compete for a $7.3 million prize at the host course, Vidanta Vallarta, which will play to a par 71 at 7,456 yards.

Abraham Ancer, the top Mexican golfer in the men’s professional ranks, has a lot riding on the first-ever Mexico Open at Vidanta. Last season, the 31-year-old golfer won his first WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, momentarily moving to No. 11 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Ancer now has a chance to become the first champion of his native country’s national title, but he’ll be up against World No. 2 Jon Rahm, 2019 U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland, former Masters champion Patrick Reed, and others.

Mexico Open Schedule 2022:

The tournament wills start on Thursday, April 28, and will continue till Sunday, May 1. Here is the full schedule:

How to Watch on TV?

  • CBS

Golf Channel and CBS will be showing the Mexico Open live on television. On Thursday and Friday, Golf Channel will broadcast live coverage from 3:30-6:30 p.m. EDT. On Saturday and Sunday, Golf Channel will begin coverage at 1-3 p.m., followed by CBS from 3-6 p.m.
