The 2022 Firestone St. Petersburg Grand Prix is going to be held on February 27 at the Streets of St. Petersburg. The race will be of a total of 100 laps. Keep reading to know when, where and how o watch the event here.

Colton Herta, the defending Champion will join Josef Newgarden, Sebastien Bourdais, and Juan Pablo Montoya as the recent repeat winners. Herta is also attempting to win his third consecutive race overall.

Basic Information:

Event date: Sunday, February 27, 2022.

Track: 1.8-mile, 14-turn temporary street circuit (clockwise) through downtown St. Petersburg, FL, plus runway of Albert Whitted Airport.

Race distance: 100 laps (181 miles)

Firestone tire allotment: Six sets primary, four sets alternate, one additional set available for rookies for use in first practice.

Push-to-pass parameters: 150 seconds of total time with a maximum single duration of 15 seconds. The push-to-pass is not available on the initial start or any restart unless it occurs in the final two laps or three minutes of a timed race.

The event will be held on the Streets of St. Petersburg. This will be a 100 lap race. Racers will have to cover 180.000 miles to complete the race. If you are someone from there, you can watch the event directly from the race location. You will need to pay $60 for general attendance at the event.
