Jan Blachowicz vs. Glover Teixeira (Light Heavyweight Championship)

Blachowicz will avoid Teixeira’s attempts at closing in. He will try to use distance shots. He is known for the power of his feet. Blachowicz also defeated middleweight champ Israel Adesanya, where he was so much better than the defender.

But now, it will be a difficult match for Blachowicz as he will have to fight Teixeira. Teixeira is a durable fighter. He is very hard to finish and never lost via submission. He has lost only 3 times with TKO in his 39 fights.

Petr Yan vs. Cory Sandhagen (Bantamweight Championship)

Yan was disqualified in his fight against Sterling. Yan was going to win the match. He used his knee which was illegal and made him lose the game. But the match against Sandhagen will be pretty difficult. He has a long-range ability to connect. Sandhagen fights to his opponent’s pace. Yan can overwhelm his opponents when they come forward. He has more power, volume, and IQ. Yan will have more volume, more power. He will win the match this time.

Islam Makhachev vs. Dan Hooker (Lightweight Bout)

Makhachev has trained with Khabib Nurmagomedov, for many years. He has an amazing Wrestling base. He is known for serious ground and pound and tries to lead to a sneaky submission. Hooker will replace the fight of Rafael Dos as he is out for injury. He is 8-3 since 2007 and only lost to Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier, and Edson Barboza.

Alexander Volkov vs. Marcin Tybura (Heavyweight Bout)

Volkov had a loss against Cyril Gane but previously won two straight against Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris. Oth of them is bug power punchers. Volkov is also a kickboxer, he throws a large volume on the feet. Tybura on the other hand is going 1-4 in the previous five fights. He is a good fighter with a black belt.  In his last eight fights, he won six. Volkov has improved his takedown skills and also defended six attempts in the last three fights. He is the favorite in this card.

Li Jimgliang vs. Khamzat Chimaev (Welterweight Bout)

In three months, Chimaev fought three times in 2020. He was tested positive with COVID 19. He only absorbed a significant strike in those fights. They completely dominated all three opponents and finishes. He faced complications with COVID-19. Jingliang is known for getting frantic and losing some composure. This will give a submission advance for Chimaev.

  • Prediction: Khamzat Chimaev.

Magomed Ankalaev vs. Volkan Oezdemir (Light Heavyweight Bout)

Oezdemir was away from the Octagon for over a year. In his last fight, he lost against Jiri Prochazka, which broke his two-fight winning streak. He is 2-4 over in his last six fights. Ankalaev had one loss from 2018. He panicked and tapped Paul Craig in a choke with just one second left.  The player had six straight wins and didn’t see any danger on the way. He has also a 71% KO finish rate on his resume. Ankalaev will be able to take this fight in his favor.
