The Atlanta Hawks will be eager to pounce on the Philadelphia 76ers once again after thumping them in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals in the 2021 NBA playoffs.

At the Wells Fargo Center on Friday, a nail-biting finished was witnessed between both sides. But in the end, the Hawks got the better of the sixers to finish four points ahead of the game before the final whistle.

Tonight, they will be looking to acquire a surprise 2-0 lead when they play the 1st-seeded side.

The Hawks will rely heavily on Trae Young and co. to replicate the upset they pulled off in the last encounter. Not to forget that the Philadelphia 76ers were a tad sloppy as well.

They came out without any sense of urgency and went on to face the music of taking the fifth-seed Hawks lightly.

The Hawks outplayed the sixers in almost every department in Game 1, shooting 72% from the field in the first 15 minutes of the match and taking a massive 26-point lead in the very beginning.

The 76er spent the rest of the game trying to come out of the trail and were just a few short till the end.

Trae Young was the star performer for the Hawks in Game 1 as he snatched 12 points, five assists and two steals in the first quarter. He ended the half with 25 under his belt.

The 22-year-old has now scored 146 points already, which is the record for the most points scored in the first five career playoff games in Hawks’ history.

Being the central player in Hawks offence, he now averages 30.2 points per game and is leading his team in points and assists in every playoff game. Moreover, he has 9.8 assists per game so far.

Bogdan Bogdanovic and John Collins delivered the goods as well as they notched 21 points each. Following their footprint was Clint Capela, who got 11 points and ten rebounds too.
