Bangladesh national team selector Abdur Razzak is likely to join the High-Performance Unit as a spin bowling consultant during their upcoming camp starting on May 14.

BCB High-Performance chairman Naimur Rahman Durjoy said that they are set to appoint the Tigers’ former left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak as they are planning to utilize his experience since they couldn’t get a spin consultant for the slow bowlers for the camp which is scheduled to start in the next month.

“We are yet to get any good spin coach or consultant, therefore, seeing whether we can include Razzak in the HP camp as we are all aware he can share the experience with our boys,” the High-Performance Unit chairman Naimur said.

He further confirmed that the BCB is also intending to use the Tigers batting consultant Jamie Siddons in the upcoming camp if he is available while HP Unit head coach Toby Radford is expected to arrive in Dhaka on June 1 will oversee the batter’s development.
