Everyone knows that Pakistan and Australia are well known for creating a mess all time. And when these two come together for a project then something wrong will happen. It happens again too as Australia has come to Pakistan for test series. This time Pakistan Cricket Board messed up with Australian all-rounder James Faulkner.
Well, who messed up with isn’t still clear but both of them are in the muddy water. There is been saying that Faulkner is raising false accusations towards PCB cause previously he has bad records of dealing poorly with payment stuff. Some people also believe that there might some fault in the PCB too.
Everything is currently under investigation. Soon the real truth will come out of the bag. Here we will what actually happened between Faulkner and PSL.
The PSL game is now underway and James Faulkner is playing for team Quetta Gladiators where he is a very prominent player and helped the team a lot. But recently told in a statement that PSL doesn’t pay him money as per the deal. Well, a charge like this is very disrespectful to the PCB. They take very seriously and took immediate action against Faulkner.
After Faulkner gave his statement within a few hours PCB replied to his post by denying the accusation. The board said that Faulkner is lying about the payment. And also they banned Faulkner from the PCL for a lifetime cause of such false blaming issues and misbehavior.
Last night Faulkner posted on social media that PCL didn’t pay his money as per the deal. They had a deal that 70% of the payment will be made. But Faulkner said the league paid him nothing and he can’t go on like this. Cause of the payment issue he is leaving Pakistan.
What does PCL say about not paying James Faulkner?
The PCL is almost finished. After a few days, the final game for the PCL trophy will be played. James Faulkner said sorry to his Pakistan fans for leaving the tournament without finishing it completely. He wrote that unfortunately, he has to pull himself off from PCL cause PCB is denying his deal and payment contract. He also said that he was with the team the whole time and he has no wish to return home but PCB is continuously telling lies to him that’s why he has no choice but to leave.
In reply, PCB says that Faulkner is lying and they arranged a meeting with Faulkner. After the meeting, PCB posted, “The PCB, as a responsible organization, engaged with Mr. Faulkner early Friday afternoon in an attempt to reason with him. Despite his reprehensible and insulting behavior during the conversation, Mr. Faulkner was assured that all his grievances would be addressed. He refused to reconsider his decision to take the field in a crucial match for his side, let his team down, and demanded that his travel arrangements be immediately made.”
They also said, “It has been unanimously agreed by the PCB and the franchises that Mr. James Faulkner will not be drafted in future HBL Pakistan Super League events.”
