Visiting Bangladesh is eying to spot a rare success in the forthcoming series against South Africa that no other Tigers could earn yet.

Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo vowed that they are keen to achieve some monumental success against their South Africa counterpart that no other Tigers have done to date at their home soil.

The visiting side who are scheduled to play from March 18 to April 12 in the upcoming series have failed to earn a single triumph against the hosts all in all the nineteen encounters in three formats of cricket at their home soil.

‘We want to do something that no Bangladesh team has done here before,’ promised the South African coach in a presser on Wednesday at Centurion.

Simultaneously he acknowledged that his charges would step into the series as an underdog duo their winless streak at their home.

‘We have definitely come here as an underdog, having not won a game here before. But South Africa will definitely start as favorites. They are playing in their own conditions where they are a tough side to beat.’

But believes that starting the series as an underdog will keep them at the upper hand as they would be able to view in the contention in short of any pressure.

‘They will start as favorites but that suits us coming as underdogs. It gives us a great opportunity to do something special.’

Still, the 47-year-old voiced confidence to achieve some golden success in the ODIs due to their continual victory in this format.

The Bangladesh Tigers have accounted for all in all 10 wins in their 15 games in the fifty overs of cricket that guided them to spot a top in the ICC ODI Super League points table.

‘But we are confident in our one-day side. We have played well in this format for a long period of time. Players understand their roles. We are expecting a competitive series.’
