The 2022 Players Championship is ready with all the top-ranked players at TPC Sawgrass. But unfortunately, Bryson DeChambeau won’t be able to participate in the tournament due to his injury. He withdraws from Arnold Palmer Invitational last week. He is suffering from wrist and hip injuries.
Previously, the world number 12 stay out of tournaments for the same cause. It’s really sad news for all of his fans. Plus, other players will miss a great competitor.
Instead of Bryson DeChambeau now Hayden Buckley will at play DeChambeau’s position. Since Buckley started to play professionally in 2018, he is doing great. His playing performance catches the eyes of all golf critics and pro players. He already managed to win two professional tour cups. He will certainly have a great career. Everyone is very much optimistic about his performance at The Players. He will surely give a hard time to all pro golfers.
DeChambeau last appeared in the Saudi International tournament, earlier this February. But he wasn’t able to finish the whole tournament. After the first round at Saudi International DeChambeau left the cause of his injury.
Last week when DeChambeau withdraw from Arnold Palmer Invitational he talked about why he is not participating in tournaments. He said that he has a lot of work to do to get everything back into order for this week. He also said that the time is too short for him to get back to 100 percent and play at 100 percent capacity.

About not joining at the Players Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational, DeChambeau says, “Right now, I’m like 90 percent okay. I don’t want to go out there and injured myself even more, and not be fulfilled 100 percent ready for the rest of the season. I don’t want to come back early and then have to take more time off.
Right now, I just can’t risk going out there and having it reaggravate. This has been one of the hardest moments of my life.”

Justin Thomas is one of the most favorite competitors at the Players Championship. Many critics suggest that Thomas’s chances of winning the game are very high. If he doesn’t make any mistake then he will probably be able to protect his trophy.
The defending champion says that he thinks there is a lot of reason that makes the tournament hard for everyone. Then, he simply said that it is just hard to win a golf tournament. And to defend the trophy at the same will be a much harder job to do.
Then he says, “I was fortunate enough to have a chance to win after a great round on Saturday. That was our first true event in a long time with a lot of fans. You could feel the energy and the atmosphere and I loved that, so that’s an amazing memory for me”.
