Argentina are through to the finals of the Copa America final after clinching a victory in the semi-final against Colombia.

After drawing 1-1, the stalemate led to the penalty shootout where Lionel Messi’s men won 3-2.

Messi has let his skills do the talking in this competition like he always does. The Barcelona superstar is the tournament’s top goal scorer (4) and has the most assists (5) to his name.

After winning the semi-final, he said: “It was a tough game but we deserved it. At times it became difficult because of the way they defended. But we have [Emiliano Martinez] who is a phenomenon. We knew he was going to make those saves. We know what he is capable of and we trusted him.”

They are now one step away from lifting the Copa America title, but Brazil stands in their way. Fans are excited to witness a Neymar vs Messi showdown in the final, something that they rarely get to witness.

Brazil vs Argentina prediction:

Both Brazil and Argentina presented their A-game in the Copa America 2021. Both teams are unbeaten so far, but we are going to give the edge to Lionel Messi this time since he has led Argentina in a dominant fashion.

Argentina has got to the final in the last two years but failed to bring it home.

This might be the last time we are seeing Messi and Aguero don the national team jersey so they would be eager to finish on a high note.
