Darren Till
Since losing to Derek Brunson in September 2021, Darren Till has wanted to rebuild to return to UFC London stronger. Still, the Liverpool native is forfeited for the event.

The Briton fighting in the middleweight category is officially forfeited to UFC London. The reigning champion of the category now is Israel Adesanya. He had called for a clash against Darren Till in the past.

Unfortunately for “The Gorilla,” his fight against Derek Brunson didn’t go as planned. He was defeated by submission in the third round.

Till wanted to rebuild and come back stronger at the UFC London co-main event on July 23. He wants to fight Jack Hermansson, then ranked 8th in the category.

As stated by Marc Raimondi of ESPN MMA, only the Liverpool native is out due to injury.

The cause and extent of the injury are still unknown. We will see if the fight is simply postponed or if Darren Till will be replaced at the event.
