Everyone was waiting for an official announcement of Erik Ten Hag being appointed as Manchester United’s new coach. It was clear for the past few days that Hag’s is gonna be in control of United. And United will look forward to bringing their good luck back with Hag’s observation. Now, finally United announced Hag as their new head coach for the team.
All the Manchester United fans wanted to hear a final declaration from the club. The announcement came on Thursday. United posts on their official site that Erik Ten Hag is coming to Old Trafford. The Red Devils made a contract with the Dutch coach. They sign Hag on a three years deal which will end in 2025 June, they leave an option to increase the deal date for one more year.
Hag has a few days left with his old team Ajax. After finishing the running season Hag will join with the Red Devils. Ajax’s current performance is amazing. They are on the top-ranked with 72 points and played 29 matches. Hag is taking the team to the door of the third league championship trophy.
After getting the appointment as the head coach of United, Hag says, “It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead.”
Erik Ten Hag is determined to change the future of the club and made the club even more powerful than it was in the past. Hag says, “I know about the history of this great club and the enthusiasm of the fans, and I am definitely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.”
Hag also talked about his former club Ajax. He says, “It will be difficult to leave Ajax after passing these incredible years with them, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful ending before I travel to Manchester United.”
How Erik Ten Hag will improve Manchester United’s situation?
Hag is surely one of the best coaches in the league. He has shown amazing work with his previous clubs. He is joining the United as the fifth coach after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Hag will replace interim coach Ralf Rangnick.
Most of the people are supporting Hag but he getting criticism too. People are raising questions about his lack of experience in the Premier League. He will have to beat Pep Guardiola and Jordan Klopp to win everyone’s heart.
And Hag is planning for it. He divided his team into four categories to upgrade all player skills. Hag will surely work on Donny Van De Beek. Everyone was concerned about the future of Ronaldo in the United, but Hag seems to enjoy Ronaldo’s company.
