They are reportedly preparing a bold attempt to secure the services of Lewis Hamilton from their rivals, Mercedes, for the 2024 F1 season. It is believed that Ferrari aims to entice the seven-time world champion away from his current team by offering Hamilton a staggering £40 million contract.

According to reports, discussions are progressing at the highest level within Ferrari. Company president John Elkann already engaging in close contact with Hamilton. The Italian outfit has the ambition of pairing their star driver, Charles Leclerc, with Hamilton, as per reports. Which would entail an early release of Carlos Sainz from his contract.

Alternatively, reports suggest that Ferrari would consider allowing Leclerc to join Mercedes in order to secure the coveted signature of Hamilton. This potential exchange deal has gained momentum. Especially after Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff recently acknowledged Leclerc’s talent. Hinting at the possibility of him joining the Mercedes camp amid uncertainties surrounding Hamilton’s future with the team.
