Padraig Harrington and Steve Stricker clash again on a big stage.

Before the final rounds in Saucon Valley after Harrington made three birdies on his final six holes. He brought back a card of 65 and take a one-shot lead. Harrington has a cumulative minus-6 after 36 action holes.
Stricker’s US team crushed Europe at the Ryder Cup. Also showed ingenuity to overcome a difficult start. He made birdies on his last three holes to score a 69.
Bernhard Langer, 64, needed a birdie on his final hole to have a chance to make the weekend rounds. He made a bogey for a 75 and missed the cut by two shots.
This is the first time in 65 senior majors that Langer has not qualified for the weekend.
Alan McLean of London, Ont., was the only Canadian to survive the cleaver by playing 73 for the second day in a row. It has a cumulative plus-4.
Stephen Ames of Calgary at plus-8, Mike Weir of Bright’s Grove, Ont. at plus-10, and Kevin Baker of Montreal at plus-20 missed the cut.
