Nick Kyrgios has recently been accused of assaulting his girlfriend. The assault took place when Kyrgios was in a relationship with his Australian model Chiara Passari. Passari reported to police about the assault last year December.
Recently, just before the Kyrgios quarter-final match in Wimbledon against Cristian Garín, the assaultive news came to light after 7 months. People are accusing Kyrgios’s girlfriend of bringing this report to light just before the match. They are saying Passari’s intention is to destroy Kyrgios’s image and his career in Wimbledon cause she failed to attend her dream place Wimbledon with Kyrgios.
But Passari made it clear that she has no intention to put pressure on Kyrgios just before the match. It’s true that she reported to the police against Kyrgios but she doesn’t have to do anything with the current situation and disrupting Kyrgios’s preparation.
While people are making jokes and fun of Passari by Kyrgios supporters, who accused her of derailing Wimbledon’s dream, someone took her side to defend her. Passari responds to that comment by saying, “Thank you. Finally someone smart enough to understand how the justice system works.”
Kyrgios also facing huge criticism and hate speech on social media for assaulting his ex-girlfriend. His elder brother Christos came forward to defend him. He said on social media, “Haters and liars will always try to bring us down – we keep it 100 and push forward.” He also asked Kyrgios fans to have faith and believe in themselves.
