Roland Garros 2023: Prize Money Revealed

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) has announced a 12.3% increase in the total prize money for Roland Garros 2023 tournament.

The clay-court major, which is scheduled to take place from 28 May-11 June, will offer a total of €49.6 million in prize money, up from €44.2 million in 2022.

The men’s and women’s singles champions at Roland Garros 2023 will each receive €2.3 million, while the finalists will earn €1,150,000. Semifinalists, quarterfinalists, and players reaching the fourth round will also see increases in their prize money compared to last year.

The prize money for first-round losers has increased by over 11%, from €62,000 in 2022 to €69,000 this year. The prize money for losers in the second and third rounds has increased by nearly 13% each. Overall, the prize money for the singles draws has increased by 9.1% compared to last year.

The men’s and women’s doubles championship teams will each claim €590,000 per pair. The finalists in each event will receive €295,000, while the semifinalists will get €148,000.

The prize money for the quarterfinalists, players reaching the third round, second round, and first-round has also increased significantly.
