Even two months ago, Scottie Scheffler was finding a place to stand on his feet. And now Scheffler is the world’s number one ranked golfer. And the 25 years old US golf star won his first major title, the 2022 Masters at the Agusta National Golf Club.

Scheffler’s upgrading rank is truly a phenomenal event. On March 27 last golf ranking, Scheffler’s name was announced as the number one. The record of improving rank this fast and becoming the number one this fast is very rare. Scheffler is born to make history. He becomes the hero of golf from zero.

Scheffler could lose his top place on the PGA leaderboard if he failed to give a good performance at the Masters. Winning the tournament ensures his position for some more time. He set enough point distance with the second-ranked Jon Rahm.

The 86th Masters Tournament was a very important event in the PGA calendar. For the past two years, Augusta wasn’t able to host games like in the old days of Covid restriction. This was the return of the tournament event full fully. With the tournament, Tiger Woods returned to the golf after a long time.

All the attention of the Masters was on the Woods. But Scheffler blows away all the world’s top players and becomes the owner of the Green Jacket. Woods failed to make his appearances in the final round. But to shutdown Scheffler, there was Cameron Smith and Rory Mcilroy. Smith was the critic’s favorite as the winner of the Masters 2022. But Scheffler managed to put everyone behind and won the title. Mcilroy becomes the event runner, which is his best performance in Augusta. And the winner of the last “Player,” which unofficial fifth major golf tournament- Cameron Smith, ends in the third position with Shane Lowry.

Winning the Masters Golf 2022 is the biggest treat for Scheffler from himself after becoming the number one. He won the most prestigious Green Jacket and 2.7 million dollars of prize money. The jacket will allow him a lifetime entry to the Master event.

How Scottie Scheffler won the 2022 Masters?

Scheffler won his first PGA Tour just two months ago at the Phoenix Open. And after that, Scheffler becomes unstoppable. Scheffler has now won four times in his last six starts.

On the final day of the Masters Golf 2022, Scheffler took 71 shots. He finished the tournament with a 10-under 278 points. Since the beginning of the match, Scheffler was doing great, but he faced trouble just one time when he needed four putts from 40 feet. If Scheffler missed that, then Mcilroy would wear the Green Jacket. But Scheffler ends it with a 1-under 71 for a three-shot victory over McIlroy.

After winning the first master’s title, Scheffler says, “I really can’t put into words what it means to win this golf tournament.”

“I can’t put into words what it means that I’ll be able to come back here for a lifetime. I can’t speak highly enough of this place.”
