Nine people, including students and a coach, died in a fiery, head-on collision in West Texas. They belong to a New Mexico university. On that day, they returned home from a golf tournament (heard from the authority).

This is one of the most pathetic news published currently. It is a big loss not only to the family of those people but also for the university. The university had lost 9 gems from their life which is not going to be sorted out.

Sgt. Steven Blanco of the Texas Department of Public Safety told on that spot a pickup truck crossed the centerline of a two-lane road in Andrews County about 30 miles east of the New Mexico state line.

Quint Thurman, the president of the University said: “We are still learning the details about the accident, but we are devastated and deeply saddened to learn about the loss of our student’s lives and their coach adding that two students had been airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.”

Moreover the Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Steven Blanco added: “The crash happened around 8:17 p.m. on a two-lane road about nine miles from the city of Andrews.”

“It’s a very tragic scene,” Blanco said. “It’s very, very tragic.”

Furthermore, the university wrote: “The university is currently attempting to notify family members of those involved in the accident. Counseling and religious services will be available to students, faculty, and staff on campus. The university will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available.”

Among them, 9 people were killed on spot and two others were extremely injured. This horrible incident occurred on Tuesday night.

Both the driver of the two vehicles died. According to ESPN six student-athletes and the coach, Tyler James was killed by crashes.
