Touring Sri Lanka is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on May 8 to play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, part of the ICC World Test Championship.
The BCB on Thursday has announced the itinerary of the forthcoming two-match Tests series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka that starts on May 15 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
In a press release, the Bangladesh Cricket Board revealed that the visiting side would arrive in Bangladesh on May 8.
As per the release, the first of the two-match Tests will be encountered at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium [ZACS] in Chattogram from May 15 to 19, while the second Test is to be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium [SBNCS] from May 23 to 27.
The Tigers are currently spotting the eighth position in the ICC World Test Championship 2023 points table after their series defeat to Pakistan and a draw against New Zealand.
