Bangladesh Test team is set to train at the Gary Kirsten Academy located in Cape town as a part of preparation ahead of their two Tests against South Africa starting on March 31.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board is thinking out to send the Tigers’ Test squad to the Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy for their build-up ahead of the two Tests against South Africa, told BCB’s chief executive officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury.
He further informed that they will send their Test players to Cape Town where the academy is located when the white ball cricketers will remain busy with their one-day campaign.
‘We are planning to send the team to the Gary Kirsten academy as we will carry all the members belonging to both Test and one-day.’
‘When the ODI squad end their campaign the Test members will join them,’ told Nizam Uddin Chowdhury to the reporters.
Gary Kirsten is expected to nurture the Tigers for three days in the camp while Jamie Siddons is will also be there.
The BCB had appointed former India and South African head coach Gary Kirsten as their consultant to find a new coach back in May 2018.
Bangladesh are scheduled to play a three-match one-day and two Tests against the host South Africa.
The ODIs are scheduled on March 18, 20, 23 while the Test matches will be played from March 31 to April 4 and April 8 to 12 respectively.
