Russia’s invasion of Ukraine shakes the whole world system. Every sector has been affected for the cause of the Russia vs Ukraine attack. All the economies of all countries and share markets are very much concerned about the fact what will happen next if Putin doesn’t stop the war. They may lose their profession and may have to leave their football career for an unknown period.

After the attack on Ukraine, UEFA immediately moved their final match from Russia. They told back then Russia won’t host the final match of the UEFA Champions League this year cause of their attack on Ukraine. Then France raise the claim that Russia should be banned from all football activities and also from all sports events.
After the military attack on Ukraine, everyone is boycotting Russia in every sector. From the class of society, people are raising their voices against Russia’s decision. The sports world are also boycotting Russia by not allowing them to participate in any international sports.
All the international sports organizations stated to turn away their face from Russia. Russia received their biggest hit from playgrounds from FIFA and UEFA. They suspend all the Russian clubs and Russian national teams from football.
Until the next decision, Russia’s national team can’t participate in any international football event. They were scheduled with Poland for the 2022 qualifying match which is postponed now. And if they can’t play that match then they won’t be able to participate in the world cup either. On the other hand, UEFA said that no Russian will be able to participate in the club-based competition.
FIFA and UEFA’s statement against Russia:
At first, FIFA and UEFA didn’t want to suspend Russia completely. They had a thought in mind that the Russian national team can play at the international ground. But the team will be known as the “Union of Russia” and they can’t use their national anthem and can’t raise their flag before the match. But later on, FIFA and UEFA moved from this decision.
And they said, “FIFA and UEFA have today decided together that all Russian teams, whether national representative teams or club teams, shall be suspended from participation in both FIFA and UEFA competitions until further notice.”
They also added, “Football is fully united here and in full solidarity with all the people affected in Ukraine. Both presidents (Gianni Infantino and Aleksander Ceferin) hope that the situation in Ukraine will improve significantly and rapidly so that football can again be a vector for unity and peace amongst people.”
