It’s official. The UFC announced yesterday the UFC 278 PPV card that will take place in Salt Lake City on August 20th. For now, these are 12 fights whose order. Apart from the main event, it has not been confirmed.
Kamaru Usman will face Leon Edwards in the main event in a rematch that dates from 2015. The fight had already been formalized 10 days ago.
That year in 2015, Usman won by unanimous decision. Since then, Leon Edwards has won his next 10 fights. The latest is against Nate Diaz in June 2021 at UFC 263.
The UFC also confirmed the Jose Aldo vs. Merab Dvalishvili bantamweight fight. Both men hoping for a chance at the title.
Luke Rockhold returns to the Octagon and faces Paulo Costa. Rockhold wants to revive after two defeats against Jan Blachowicz and Yoel Romero.
