Washington Football Team are one of the juggernauts of the team that made it extremely tough for Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers to defeat them.

The Chargers might be relieved to see Ryan “FitzMagic” Fitzpatrick start as the Washington quarterback, but coming off against a pass rush as good as Chase Young can make this outing a nightmare for the Los Angeles-based organisation.

Last year, the Bolts blew away leads on several occasions. They failed to capitalise on their opponents despite getting early points. This let their rivals never be under pressure and turn the tables on the Chargers.

Match prediction

Washington will be the firm favourite for the home clash. They look like a far more well-rounded side that has a good attack and an equally sound defence to hold off agile quarterbacks.

Sorry, Chargers fans, but it seems like the season opener is not going to go in favour of the Bolts.

Is 2021 Justin Jones’ year?

Justin Jones, the Los Angeles star, is eager to play in his fourth NFL season with the Bolts.

In a recent interview, he seemed positive about what’s in store for football fans as the top office has made slight adjustments in the squad.

“We’ve got a lot in store, especially for our defence and especially for our defensive front. The things we’re doing this year are so crazy compared to what we’ve been doing previous seasons,” he said.

“We’ve got a lot more space now which frees a lot of us up. That’s going to give us opportunities to get these one-on-ones and expose them. That’ll be really good for us as a front because we’ve got some really good rushers on our team and now, we really get to showcase their abilities with space.”
