It will be the 11th edition of the competition, held every year following the Summer Olympic Games. This year’s World Games will showcase a New Generation of Global Sports. An anticipated 3,600 elite athletes from over 100 countries will compete for gold in more than 30 of the fastest growing sports in the world. The games will be contested in 30 venues in and around Birmingham.

What sports are in the World Games 2022?
The Birmingham 2022 World Games will feature 30 official sports including 54 disciplines and a total of 206 events. It will be the first time that drone racing, canoe marathon, breaking, women’s fistball, kickboxing, and parkour have been included in the competition.

You can buy tickets for the Birmingham World Games 2022 from the official website (twg2022.com). The tickets by venue, sports, and dates are all available on the website. You can also buy the tickets for the opening and closing ceremony as well. Moreover, after purchasing, you can download and carry digital tickets on your device.

How to Watch on TV and Live Stream:
CBS Sports Network will televise one-hour of highlights from The World Games 2022 after the games of each day. The CBS Television Network will broadcast two, one-hour specials, with broadcast coverage also streaming on Paramount Plus.
The live streaming will be available on the official site. The TWG 2022 app also has the option to watch the stream with some limitations based on television rights.
