Martin, who won the pole in last year’s Doha GP in Qatar, blazed to his fifth career MotoGP pole. He believes he has to find a little more speed before he can think about challenging for the win. Enea Bastianini, a fellow satellite Ducati rider, will start from the front row for the first time of his career on his Gresini-run 2021-spec Desmosedici.

On the significantly redesigned 2022, Honda, six-time world champion Marc Marquez completes the front row. He believes he can contend for the podium but not the win on Sunday.
