Penrith Panthers finished the regular season right at the top. They started the postseason with a massive 27-8 victory over tonight’s opponent, Eels.
The Panthers took care of the Rabbitohs comfortably in the preliminary finals by 32-12 points to reach their third consecutive Grand Final.
Penrith Panthers have dropped only four games this season. Two of those defeats came against the Eels.
On the other hand, Parramatta Eels have been coming out on top in big games. After losing to the Panthers in their postseason opener, the Eels bounced back with a thumping win by 40-4 points against the Raiders to reach the preliminary finals.
There, they took care of the Cowboys by a 20-24 victory to reach their first Grand Final since 2009. They will look for their first premiership in 36 years.
Mitch Moses is the key player for the Eels. Moses is leading the league in try assists. It would be a key matchup between Moses Nathan Cleary.
