The 2022 European Masters is going to be held on 22-27 February at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes. Here, you will know when, where, and how to watch the event along with the prize pool here.

Mark Selby, the defending champion, will try to defend his title on home soil, but first, he must win a held-over qualifying match against Matthew Selt to earn a spot in the main draw.

In held over matches, household players like Judd Trump, Ronnie O’Sullivan, and Neil Robertson will compete, while John Higgins and Kyren Wilson have already qualified and will face Jamie Clarke and Jamie Jones, respectively.

Preview:

The tournament was originally set to take place at Fürth’s Stadthalle, but it was moved owing to ongoing Covid issues in Germany. The European Masters snooker was last held in September 2020, when Mark Selby won the tournament after a thrilling 9-8 final victory over Martin Gould.

Except for the world’s top four players, who had their qualifying matches moved to the main venue, all major tour professionals were required to win one qualifying match at Cannock in October to secure their place in the main draw.

Neil Robertson, the reigning Masters and Players Champion, is aiming for a second European Masters title, while Judd Trump, the 2016 and 2017 champion, is aiming for his first ranking silverware of the season.
