Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev is the 3rd seed in Qatar. This month he ranked 11th in ATP singles. He recently reached 3rd round at Australian Open but was upset by Sebastian Korda. Before that, Medvedev was a semifinalist at Adelaide International. There the Russians lost to Novak Djokovic.
