It’s now the widespread concern of everyone that world number one player tennis star Novak Djokovic, is gonna be banned from the Australian Open or not. The issue is going on in all the media. And fans of Djokovic are really anxious about the fact. Cause no one wants to miss the boss of tennis performance in Melbourne.
There is another for that too. That, the Serbian superstar is the king of the Australian Open. He literally builds his career and earned enormous fame and reputation from the Australian Open. It’s his lucky place.
Novak won the AUS Open title nine times. He didn’t miss the trophy earliest this year too. He has won the medal, for now, three times in a row. So, Djokovic will defend these three times title in the next year.
Last month we saw the final grand slam of the year. Djokovic did a great job there but the end didn’t go as he planned. He didn’t even attend the highest honorable tournament after 4 grand slums, the BNP Paribas tournament of master ATP 1000. Probably, the boss is planning to come back in next year January when the Australian Open will take place.
Australian sports management and tennis govern is planning their next grand slum. And the Victorian government is highly alert and conscious about the Covid-19 situation. They vaccinate 90% of people. And they are not taking any risk.
And recently they said that players who won’t take jab won’t be welcomed in the Australian Open. Not only players, all the associates of the tournament, all the audience, all the servicemen. Everyone will have to go through the vaccination process.
And we all know that Novak is a very controversial character when it comes to the Covid-19 vaccine. Earlier this year made some comments about getting a vaccination and the whole thing is raising a question about this presence in the Australian Open. Below, we have talked about this.
Premier Daniel Andrews says about Djokovic, “Titles won’t protect you[Novak] either. The only title that will protect you is you being able to have had your first dose and second dose.”
He also says, “Logic tells me and numerous conversations with the Prime Minister… tells me that if you are an Australian citizen, you will be allowed home if you haven’t had the jab. But if you’re coming on a tourist visa or a business visa, so you’re not an Aussie, like, you are coming to visit, the notion of you get in here without being vaccinated, I think very, very low.”
Why does the vaccination matter point to Novak Djokovic and what ATP and WTA world tennis figures say about it?
Australian Open mandatory vaccination process immediately indicates to Djokovic cause, Djokovic made some comments earlier this year in April.
He says, “There has been a lot of un-clarity I would say, as to whether there’s going to be a compulsory mandatory vaccination to take part on the ATP Tour, I don’t think it will come to that. I hope not, because I’ve always believed in freedom of choice.”
And then he added, “But when it comes to vaccinations, I’ve always been a proponent of liberty and freedom of choice. I think this is something right now that I just don’t want to get involved in.”
Djokovic’s commentary went on for a long about getting or getting a vaccination. He is clearly against getting vaccines for himself. And he requested every to respect his decision.
The world tennis ATP and WTA community don’t put any rules on getting the job. They say, “While we respect everyone’s right to free choice, we also believe that each player has a role to play in helping the wider group achieve a safe level of immunity.”
