The 134th edition of Wimbledon, which was originally supposed to take place in 2020, is set to kick off on June 28 and conclude on July 11.
The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London will host the event, just like it has been hosting it since 1877.
The qualifiers are still being played to determine which players are through to the star-studded competition to compete in their respective pools.

It is to be noted that two tennis greats, Naomi Osaka and Rafael Nadal, have withdrawn from the tournament. The Japanese star cited mental relaxation to sideline herself from the Golden Slam.
As for the Spaniard, consistent injury woes have forced him to take rest. He has also pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics that will begin after Wimbledon.
Who are defending Wimbledon champions?
World No. 1 and French Open winner, Novak Djokovic, and Simona Halep are the defending men’s singles and women’s singles champions, respectively, from 2019.
