Ramírez continued his winning streak, securing 43 more consecutive victories after his debut, including 29 wins via stoppage.

In 2010, Ramírez faced Rogelio Medina for the vacant WBC Youth title. Both boxers entered with impressive undefeated records, but Ramírez left with the title after securing a technical knockout victory.
