College Career
Pereda moved to the United States at age 14 to live with his brother and attend high school in Florida. He went on to play college golf at Jacksonville University from 2014-2018.
As a senior at Jacksonville in 2017-18, Pereda set the program record for single-season scoring average at 70.54. He was ranked as high as #38 individually, the second-lowest ranking in school history.
Pereda was a two-time All-ASUN selection and part of the JU team that advanced to the 2017 NCAA Championship.
Professional Career
Raul Pereda turned professional in March 2019 after a successful amateur and college career at Jacksonville University.
Pereda made his PGA Tour debut in April 2023 at the Mexico Open at Vidanta, playing on a sponsor’s invite. He finished tied for 42nd, shooting 3-under 281 for the week.
