As for Bayern Munich, this season was expected to be better than last term after they finished the season trophyless and it has been going according to plan. The Bavarians lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen as well as the DFB Pokal, while eventual winners Real Madrid sent them out in the UEFA Champions League.
Under Vincent Kompany, they have been consistent and finished 2024 on a strong note. On the log, the Bavarians have won ten games, drawn three, and lost just once. They are currently top of the log with 36 points – four more than second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
