Nicholas Echavarria was born in Medellin, Colombia, on August 4, 1994.
He started playing golf when he was young and quickly showed how good he was and how much he loved it. From 2013 to 2017, he attended the University of Arkansas.

Career
Echavarria turned professional in 2017 and joined the PGA Tour Latinoamerica. In 2018, he won the São Paulo Golf Club Championship and the San Luis Championship, both held in Brazil.
He finished second in the Order of Merit that year, which earned him a card for the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour season.
He played on the Korn Ferry Tour for 3 years, improving each year and increasing the rankings.
